Goodyn Green "The Catalog" Exhibition

Nov 12, 2011

THE CATALOG BY GOODYN GREEN

After 3 years of collecting photos for a masturbation catalog Goodyn Green is releasing her first photo book in collaboration with Bend Over Magazine.

The Photos were collected between 2009-2011 in Berlin, Barcelona, London, Paris, and New York.

"Goodyn Green's THE CATALOG is a welcome invitation to engage in active looking at the non-normative, queer female body, while the straight identified viewer is open to seeing through a queer lens. Utilizing the gestures of gay male porn magazines, Goodyn Green explores what those poses might offer to the sexual liberation of queer female subjects. In this way, THE CATALOG is equal parts self-pleasuring tool and manifesto"
